Lecture Series

What does it feel like to be a woman in China? And how have gender dynamics in China changed over the past decades?

Nowadays the answer to this question remains full of controversy and contradictions as gender dynamics have undergone a radical transformation in modern and contemporary China. The lecture series brought together ten leading scholars from Europe to debate and disseminate their latest research on women and gender in China.
